We the chimps ...

Think now the level of education in Greece. Do you really want this people to decide directly for their fate? Better give to chimps to play with a nuclear bomb; It is safer.
And to say it differently, direct democracy needs educated citizens with a maximum level of education and collaborative consciousness. This is a joke in Greece, so unfortunately direct democracy cannot exist.
These words were said in a blog of a newly created Greek political party called the "Pirate Party of Greece".

I am going to start with the positions of this party, which talks about transparency national and social and collaborative participation in public affairs, in other words talking about the return of the well known to us the Greeks  the “Democracy”.

I will not dwell on the fact that this party is headed by an odious name for the Greek history, nor that a group of people practitioners of Information Technology loathed the controlled information and decided to respond collectively, hence they decide to take control of the destiny of an entire country without taking a substantial position on key issues of the nation, but in their courageous effort to restore "Democracy" where it belongs, to the Greeks.

Returning to the original quote, which when I read it I remembered the first words of Kapodistrias in 1818 when he replied that the conditions were not yet matured to free the Greeks from the Turkish yoke, using the exact phrase "our country is far beyond freedom ". And I wonder what my dear blogger would respond to the mother who wants to keep the infant in her arms; it is not safe? Because for the Greeks "Mother" is Greece and her offspring is the Democracy. Who is then more appropriate to keep this child in his arms from the same mother?

As for the education level in Greece, I will remind the dear blogger that just because in Greece there is a "higher education" may each "uneducated" say openly his opinion. And do not forget that we all have come from an "uneducated" parent who transferred to us an educated soul and gave us the means to call ourselves "educated." And whoever considers as a nuclear bomb to decide the citizen for his own fate, then I'm sorry but this is the head chimp that draws the dance on the “educated” Modern Greek’s circus who have sold their souls and our mutual "Mother" in the name of money and economic interests.

I am very sorry that I cannot laugh with that joke, but once again to feel pain not because Greece kills her children, but because her children are killing Greece and still they insist to call themselves Greeks.

Ending, I quote the three basic principles of democracy which must be aware of every citizen.

1st principle: The power comes from the people.
2nd principle: The power is conducted by the people.
3rd principle: The power serves the interests of the people.
